The mission of Community and Staff Development Services is to provide training to assist with improving the quality of life for the Southeast Arkansas with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities.
CSDS provides training services to internal staff and outreach services to community service providers and the surrounding community through the following:
> DDS required training
> Videos
> Written Information
> On-site training at provider locations
> Centralized location for training
> Meeting space for programs and the community
> On-site, hands-on training for direct care personnel
> Volunteer training
> Tours
> Community Liaison & Development services
> Online resource for training opportunities
> Community and Public Relations
The goal of the program is to serve as an outreach partner between the state providers and privately run community programs.
